DESCRIPTION
Two-component high-solid polyurethane coating to create anti-slippery surfaces onto decks of trucks, industrial and commercial vehicles and boats.
Perfect for non slippery finishing.
MIXING RATIO
By volume: Part A – 6 / Catalyst Part B – 1
Care should be taken in respecting the given product/catalyst ratio.
Mix the two components carefully. The mixture should be of uniform colour without streaks.A non-uniform mixture could produce “islands” either scarcely hardened or not hardened at all.
Use the mixture within 15 minutes from its preparation.
APPLICATION
To apply on:
Self-levelling Gelpur, Wait at least 12/24 hrs. before application.
Cement, the floor should be dry and at least 6 months-old. Carefully clean the flooring. Make sure that there is no ground moisture rise.
Wood, make sure the substrate perfectly dry! A previous application of self-Levelling Gel-Pur is recommended
Reinforced plastic/Steel, degrease and opacify using coarse-grained abrasive pad.
Aluminium/Galvanised sheet metal, clean and degrease well. Pre-treat the surface with epoxy primer.
The product is ready to use. All the surface to be treated must be cleaned, dust-free, degreased and clean.
Pour the GEL-FLOOR on the floor and spread it with the aid of a rubber spatula or a rubber roller.
GEL-FLOOR isn’t a self-levelling product. Apply it carefully to obtain best aesthetic and anti-slippery effect!
Temperature resistance: -20°C / +80°C.
Application temperature: +15° C / +25° C.
Never apply the product at temperatures below 10°C.
TIMES
TREADABLE 20°C: 8-12 h.
Capable of carrying a load 20°C: within about 48 h
Full development of its chemical/mechanical properties: after 2 weeks minimum from application.
At temperatures exceeding 25°C pot life of the mixture is greatly shortened.
